Bridges

Dental Bridges
To replace a missing tooth with a bridge, at least one tooth on either side of the space created by the missing tooth is prepared for a crown. A false tooth (pontic) joined to the crowns is then cemented onto the prepared teeth (abutments), bridging the space and replacing the missing tooth.
